Simple Past Tense

digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian pada masa lampau

adverb of time: yesterday, .....years ago, this morning.

formula:
(+) S + V2 + .....
(-) S + did not V1 + .....
(?) Did + S + V1 + ..... ?

example:
(+) Tono went to school yesterday.
(-) Tono did not to school yesterday.
(?) Did Tono go to school yesterday.

exercise 2:
(+) Tono (buy/buys/bought) apples two weeks ago.
(-) Tono...
(?) ...
